On July 12, 2023, in commemoration of the reading week, a manuscript magazine titled "Cellfie." was released by the Department of Microbiology  This literary endeavor showcased the creative talents of Microbiology students, presenting a rich collection of articles, stories, and artworks. The magazine was unveiled by Dr. K.M. Khaleel, the Principal, symbolizes a celebration of the students' literary and artistic achievements.

In addition to this creative showcase, the event paid homage to the legendary Malayalam writer, Vaikom Mohammed Basheer. Dr. Khaleel Chovva, in his inaugural speech, eloquently highlighted the life challenges that Basheer had overcome, shedding light on the writer's enduring legacy. Mr. Shafeeq Pallakkan, an Assistant Professor of Malayalam, delivered a captivating Basheer memorial talk, further honoring the literary icon.

The function was presided over by Mr. Nizamudheen.K.M, the Head of the Microbiology Department, and Sneha. P, the Student editor of "Cellfie," expressed a heartfelt vote of thanks, concluding this literary and commemorative gathering on a note of appreciation and reflection.
