The Department of Computer Science organized an old age home visit(Karunalayam,Chemberi) on February 08, 2024, as part of its Best Practice initiative. The visit aimed to foster social responsibility and empathy among students by providing them an opportunity to interact with the elderly residents.

During the visit, students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by senior citizens, including the emotional, physical, and social struggles in their later years. They spent quality time with the elderly, listened to their life experiences, and engaged in meaningful conversations, making the visit both insightful and heartwarming.

As a gesture of love and care, sweets and fruits were distributed to the residents, bringing smiles to their faces and making the experience even more special

The visit helped students appreciate the value of compassion, patience, and respect for the elderly while also reinforcing the importance of caring for and supporting the senior members of society.
