Sir Syed Institute for Technical Studies (SSITS), affiliated to Kannur University, organized an Anti-Ragging Awareness Programme on 13th August 2025 at 2:00 PM. The programme was conducted by the Parent Teacher Association and the Anti-Ragging Committee.

The session was inaugurated by Adv. Shajith M.M., Advocate, Thaliparamba, who addressed the students on the legal consequences of ragging and the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment. He emphasized that ragging is a punishable offence and encouraged students to uphold discipline and mutual respect.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote a friendly and supportive academic atmosphere. The event successfully reinforced the institution’s commitment to ensuring a ragging-free campus.
